Our Pic of the Week for this week focuses on Amanda's feet. Comment and get a link to a short clip. Sure, it's a bit more artsy than our usual pic, but we like to have fun too.

Amandas feet are nice and still, maintaining a beautiful streamline. With the toes and heels relatively close together water have little to catch on to. I love the strength she is showing on the catch with her hand angled. It looks like she uses a lot of her back muscles during the catch.

interesting to see from this angle would like to see more. thanks

Not to be looked as streamline but to be looked as finishing of leg kick.
kick is finished to pointing of toe position.
Ankle flexion to be noted . It is almost near 180 degree to leg

Hand sculling should also be noted. she is about to lift her head for breathing so streamline is not for consideration in this picture

Beutiful form. I would love to see the execution of the whole movement.

The focus on keeping the feet together and toes pointed even as the catch begins is impressive. My feet tend to drift as I start thinking about the next arm pull if I don't concentrate. Nice arty photo by the way ;-)
